FYI for all students and parents that attend Falls City Holy Trinity CCD:
We will have CCD this Wednesday, April 16 from 6:00-7:00 as normal.
Palm Sunday begins Holy Week the most sacred time in the Christian calendar, marking Jesus' final days on earth and his ultimate sacrifice for humanity (all of us). It is a time of deep spiritual reflection, reminding all christians of his journey of love, suffering, and redemption. This is a time for all of us to spend time in the church participating in the Sacred Triduum, Holy Thursday-Mass of the Lord's Supper, Good Friday Service-The Passion of the Lord, Holy Saturday-Easter Vigil, and Easter Sunday-the resurrection of the Lord.
Parents please take your child(ren) to church this week so they may begin to understand and learn more about our Catholic Faith and beautiful Catholic Tradition.
We will NOT have CCD next Wednesday, April 23.
April 30 is a regular CCD and 1st Confession for 2nd grade students preparing for 1st Holy Communion.
May 4 is 1st Holy Communion Mass
May 7th is Closing Mass and Rosary.
Please share this message.
CCD Registration – Forms for the upcoming year can be found at the entrance of the church. Parents: You do not need to complete this form unless something has changed (phone #, address, allergies, etc.) or your child is new to Holy Trinity CCD Program. You can take a picture of the form and send it to me or put it in an envelope titled: CCD and place it in the collection basket. If you have any questions, please call or text Karissa Jarzombek, DRE 830-534-8299. Thank you!
*If you are interested in either teaching or subbing for the Falls City Holy Trinity CCD program this year we gladly welcome you. Please send Mrs. Jarzombek a text at 830-534-8299.
RCIA: if you are interested in becoming Catholic: Have you been worshiping with us but never officially took the step to become Catholic? Were you baptized Catholic as a child but never received the other Sacraments of Initiation (Eucharist & Confirmation)? Have you been practicing another religion and would now like to find out more about the Catholic Church? Do you know family and friends who might be interested in learning about the Catholic Church?
If any of the above questions apply to you, we would love to help you on your spiritual journey! Or, if you know of anyone who could answer YES to any of these questions, please extend them an invitation.
For more information on the RCIA process here at Holy Trinity, please contact the Parish Office at 830-254-3539 or Karissa Jarzombek at 830-534-8299.
